New Co - Chair Elected for LGBT Labour

James Asser elected to be new Co-Chair of LGBT Labour

James Asser

James Asser has been elected to serve as Co-Chair alongside Cllr Katie Hanson for the next year. James has previously been LGBT Labours Constituency and Regional Co-ordinator where he delivered the largest ever increase in CLP affiliations and regional activity.

He takes over as Co-Chair at an important time in the campaign for LGBT equality and on his first night as Co-Chair he led LGBT Labours protest against being discriminated against in the Greencoat Boy Public house in Westminster.

James currently works in London and lives in Brighton where he will be campaigning to take a seat on Brighton and Hove Council next year.
