LGBTLabour is recruiting a ‘new media’ volunteer to help continue to develop and enhance our presence on the web in the run up to and throughout the General Election campaign.
The main responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and support our online and interactive strategy and activity including responsibility for the creation, testing, analysis and execution of online advertising campaigns.
- Work with our national committee to play a key role in the creation, implementation and maintenance of content across LGBTLabour’s web platforms; maintain, monitor and report on LGBTLabour’s presence on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter
- Develop and maintain an effective online advertising strategy
- Undertake regular ‘environment scanning’ to ensure that LGBTLabour is at the forefront of online campaigning and advertising
You will have:
- Experience of developing online campaign materials
- Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and the latest trends in social media
- Knowledge of LGBT political issues and current debate
- Experience in developing interactive material for the web and social networking sites.
- Committment to the aims and objectives of the Labour Party
